Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3-6pm
This six-week summer workshop will introduce black and brown teens ages 14-19 to analog photography and photographic processing. Participants will engage in a multidisciplinary photography course, which includes field work, darkroom activities and a weekly survey of artists who engage in photo activism. The workshop will end with a traveling photography exhibition that will be exhibited at the Meeting of the Minds Summit October 23-25 at the Global Health Center. http://meetingoftheminds.org/events/motm2017.
Each participant will receive an analog camera, film, darkroom equipment, and a portfolio. Transportation and snacks will be provided.
